Omar Ha-Redeye reviewed the state of Criminal Law in relation to sharing intimate images online without consent on Slaw. In his article, he reviews the CyberCrime Working Group’s report on the history of ‘Cyberbullying’ in Canada and it’s suggestion that a new law be created specifically to cover cases like that of Rehtaeh Parsons. He then went on to review the numerous responses by various provincial and state governments to this ongoing concern.
